Dear Praying Friends at Sparta,

June 6 begins our annual workers' conference followed by the summer camping program which ends August 5.

We are looking forward to seeing many campers come and enjoy a week of excitement.  We provide swimming, water slide, go-carts, mountain bikes, slippery slide, crafts, good food, roller-skating, with a chapel service each morning and evening.

Rob and Hope are our camp directors who will be kept very busy.  Hope will be doing the registration.  She will also be managing the Day Camp.

What am I doing?  I have the responsibility to see that all bills are paid.  I am thankful for our oldest daughter, Patty, who is a good helper with the computer.

The church work is doing well.  We have lost two families (sad) but have gained a few new ones also.

Pray for Brian, our grandson, who will be giving his first sermon on June 26.

I had the privilege of leading a 12 yr. old girl to the Lord in her home.  That is a real joy.  She and her family have started to attend church regularly.

Thank you for your monetary gift, which is being used to help pay my wife's nursing home expense.  It is very much appreciated.  God bless you.
